San Miguel Kids Endowment to Match ‘Save the Livery’ Donations

By October 15, 2018August 24th, 2021No Comments

The Norwood Park & Rec District got a huge boost toward raising the final $50,000 necessary to purchase the Livery Playhouse. The San Miguel Kids Endowment, created by Debbie & Bill Carstens and managed by their daughter Cheryl Miller as Trustee, has committed a matching grant of up to $12,500 toward the campaign. Every dollar donated between now and the Oct. 29 closing date will be matched by the Endowment. Bill and Debbie Carstens created the San Miguel Kids Endowment to fund organizations benefiting the children of Telluride, Norwood and San Miguel County’s West End school districts.

Those interested in making a direct donation to Save the Livery should visit the NPRD Donation Page. All contributions are tax deductible and can be made online or by mailing a check to Norwood Park & Recreation District, PO Box 645, Norwood, CO 81423 (put “Save the Livery” in the memo). In the meantime, keep checking NPRD’s Facebook page and website for updates on Save the Livery fundraising events and opportunities.
